KereKere is a coffee vendor that gives to its community without expectation and provides employment for young people facing barriers to finding work.
KereKere invites customers to help in the distribution of monthly $1000 donations to initiatives that promote community wellbeing. Each time a customer makes a purchase they select to support one of four Cause Categories - Environmental, Cultural, Social or Health - and then we make donations to specific initiatives accordingly.
KereKere takes on two young people facing barriers to finding work each year, training them in 'the art of coffee making' and the KereKere ethos of inclusiveness and generosity. New recruits are nurtured and work closely with fellow staff members to provide quality, sustainable products and service.
